Life Sciences Industries Branch (LSI)
Works to expand Alberta’s life sciences industry. LSI contributes to the establishment and growth of small- and medium-sized life sciences companies in Alberta by
- Fostering research partnerships with international companies, via support of collaborative research conducted at Alberta’s universities
- Raising the profile of Alberta’s life sciences industry and the advantages of Alberta as a place to do business, through participation in conferences, trade shows, and trade missions
- Maintaining relationships with Alberta’s life sciences researchers and companies, and keeping updated on their needs and concerns
