Apprenticeship and Industry Training
The Apprenticeship and Industry Training Sector acts as the registrar, advisor and monitor for apprenticeship and industry training activity in Alberta and sets Industry Standards. The Sector supports the Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board and industry committees to develop training and certification standards, and makes arrangements with Training Providers for apprentices’ technical training.
